This past weekend Tampa Tanners set sail with a very exciting and fun themed monthly party. While it was a hard theme to find props for we managed pretty well and had alot of fun with it. We ended up 7 people short then we thought we would have but it still ended up being a big splash. Before the party started we had a few guests arrive early and we took the opp to go down to the pool and lobby for some photos. dressed in our costumes and carrying around boat oars we probably got quite a few looks I am sure. But with an anime convention nearby and characters from there walking around we weren't the only costumed guests walking around. We had planned our food around the theme checking out the menu from the last meal on the Titanic we found some recipes and picked from all three of the classes for the food we served. The first thing we all tried was the cabin biscuits from third class. I don't suggest though that anyone rush to try them. They were quite nasty LOL as you can see in this picture of Thomas trying them out.


We handed out name cards for our guests and allowed them to make there name for the party we had some really interesting names but only a few we can share since some do not want to be named and most were a part of their names. Here are the ones i can share though






We also took pictures with the people holding their name placecards.







We also had some other props like a water background that we placed on the floor and threw some seashells and moss on to give it more of a realistic look. This also gave us a reason for some photo fun as well since Katia Thomas and i went as drowning victims we took turns laying on the water mat like we were floating on the top.








Like I mentioned in the beginning of the post we were down in the lobby and by the pool taking some pics we even took a few in the elevator on our way back up to the room. I'm just going to share those pics now in no real order. We had fun playing around even before the party and the spankings started.
